Induction Day, often referred to as I-Day, marks the official beginning of a Midshipman’s journey at the United States Naval Academy. It is an important and emotional milestone for both incoming Plebes and their families as candidates are sworn in and begin Plebe Summer.
The USNA North Carolina Parents Club recognizes how significant this day is and works to support families as they prepare for this transition.
